The window for Western Conference teams to gain ground on the Golden State Warriors seems to be closing. The Warriors have been playing around .500 ball while Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have been out with injuries. Curry is set to return on Saturday, and Green could be returning from his toe injury a few games after that. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said on Thursday that Green feels like he will be able to play at the end of the team's current road trip. The Warriors are at the beginning of a five-game road trip. The final two games are Wednesday at Cleveland and Friday at Milwaukee. Green has played twice since Nov. 5 and will have missed a total of 10 games counting Thursday's contest at Toronto. Once the Warriors have Green and Curry back, expect them to return to their top form within weeks. As it stands, they enter their game against Toronto second in the West with a 15-7 record.
